The goal of this project was to provide beauty and accessibility to a large slope. A wooden staircase and decomposed granite paths make navigating the steep terrain much more enjoyable. The mosaic of native shrubs and ground covers will create a soft, tumbling effect once established.
Plant species were selected for their ability to provide erosion control. Shredded redwood bark spread over jute netting was used as an ideal mulch for hillside.es.
